Introduction to Shakespeare
Everyone is expected to complete activity #1. Then you have the choice of 2 or 3.
Activity #1: Shakespeare Insult Contest
Create an insult and write it in a speech bubble on your colored picture of Shakespeare.
Include the translation and your name on the back with the quotes. Insults are a contest: Top 5 winners will receive a prize.

Activity # 2: Shakespeare Web Quest
1) Use your activity from yesterday to complete a "top 20 list" about Shakespeare and the time period. Shakespeare's birth and death count as ONE of the 20 (not two).
2) Find important information using ALL three links. Be sure to include dates and put the information in chronological order.
Activity #3: Write a note to a friend
Write a love letter, a break-up letter, or an apology letter to your friend using three of the following terms from Shakespeare as well as at least three words from the Shakespeare Vocabulary Dictionary. Find out if the play you took each term from was a comedy, a tragedy, or a history play. Write the word and type (tragedy, comedy, historical) on the back of the letter.
Letter must be in letter format (given) and have criteria underlined.
