Meet the RFM School Counselors!

Hello! My name is Ms. Kunkle, and I am thrilled to be returning to Rocky Fork Middle School this year! This is my third year as a school counselor and at Rocky Fork Middle School. Our students, staff, caregivers, and community all give Rocky Fork a positive and engaging school climate, and I love being a part of the Storm Family! Here is a little bit about me. I am excited to work with you this year!

I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA. I received my bachelor's degree in Sociology, and Business, Organizations, and Society from Franklin & Marshall College. After college, I remained in central PA and served as a College Adviser at a rural high school for a few years. In this position, I worked alongside counselors, teachers, administrators, and others to help students find success after high school in their college or career goals. This role inspired me to pursue my school counseling license, and in 2017 I moved to Nashville, TN. I received my M.Ed. in Human Development Counseling with a certification in Professional School Counseling from Vanderbilt University. During my two-year Master’s program, I interned at three different schools in the Nashville area and surrounding counties. In my free time I enjoy outdoor activities, gardening, traveling, and spending time with friends and family, and my dog, Teddy.

I am excited to work with you this year! Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if there is anything I can do to support you.
