Welcome To STEM with Mr. Vick

I am so excited to be teaching STEM at Rocky Fork Middle School. You will find that STEM is a unique exploratory class in which students are exposed to problem solving, design and manufacturing of ideas and products. Through this class the students will be introduced to a variety of knowledge and technology. From wood working, construction, water filtration, plant science, 3D design and printing, as well as robotics.

All grades, assignments, and behavior logs will be in Skyward. Most work is done in the classroom but they will have some projects that will be worked on at home. Every student in STEM "MUST" have a parent or guardian fill out a safety sheet and all students must pass a safety test before they can work on the labs. I hope every student that comes through my STEM class, not only learns some new and beneficial to their future but, has fun while being involved in the process.
