About Me!

Welcome! My name is Emily Bird and this is my 6th year teaching math in Rutherford County. I graduated from Tennessee Tech University in 2018 with my Bachelors in Education with a concentration in 6-8 Mathematics. In 2020 I got my Algebra 1 endorsement and just recently got my endorsement in Special Education: Severe to Profound Disabilities. I have been married for almost a year to my husband, Heath, and we love to travel on the weekends spending time with family and friends! I am looking forward to an amazing school year!
