About Me!

Welcome! My name is Emily Bird, and this is my 7th year teaching math in Rutherford County. I graduated from Tennessee Tech University in 2018 with my bachelor's in education with a concentration in 6-8 Mathematics. In 2020 I got my Algebra 1 endorsement and just recently got my endorsement in Special Education: Severe to Profound Disabilities. I have been married for 2 years to my husband, Heath, and we just welcomed our first baby, Jamie, in July!
