Welcome to Weightlifting/Health!

I am so excited to lead your child on a path of lifelong health and fitness. In my class we will be working to improve overall fitness levels through safe weight training techniques.

*Quarantine Expectations*
Week of 8/30/21 - 9/3/21
If you are currently out of school due to being quarantined follow the procedures below.
          • Pull up Choice Board assignment.
          • Complete one square each day you are quarantined and unable to attend class.
          • When you return to school, you will be expected to turn-in your choice board with the assignments stapled to the back (if you are unable to print off the choice board, that is okay).

1st period 8:00 -8:50 8th grade Weightlifting
2nd period 8:54 -9:39 8th grade Weightlifting
3rd period: 9:43 - 10:28 6th grade Weightlifting
4th period: 10:32 - 11:17 RTIB 
5th period: 11:21 - 12:43 Lunch/Planning
6th period: 12:47 - 1:32 Cafeteria Duty
7th period: 1:36 - 2:21 7th grade Weightlifting
8th period: 2:25 - 3:00 Dean 
In my weightlifting and health class, it is my goal to educate students on the variety of ways they can become a healthier person. I love to watch them learn to enjoy fitness and physical activity, and it my passion to teach my students lifelong fitness and health habits.
About me:
  • 2021-2022 is my 10th year of teaching, and I am so blessed it is my 4th year at Rocky Fork Middle
  • I graduated from MTSU in 2012 with a B.S. in Health Education and Lifetime Wellness with a minor in Secondary Education.
