INCOMING 6TH GRADE FOOTBALL PLAYERS INFORMATION:
We are extremely excited to offer all new incoming 6th graders an opportunity to join the Rocky Fork Middle School Football Team. We believe we are building something special here at Rocky Fork and we would love for you to be a part of it all.
 
Incoming 6th graders Practice Schedule: For the first two weeks of summer practice our new 6th graders will begin with a 1-hour practice that will be designed to introduce them to our program and expectations. After the first hour our incoming 6th graders will practice with our returning 7th and 8th graders. 
Week 1:
Monday (June 2nd) - Practice 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. 
Tuesday (June 3rd) - Practice 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Thursday (June 5th) - Practice 5:00 -7:00 p.m. 
Week 2:
Monday (June 9th) - Practice 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday (June 10th) - Practice 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Thursday (June 12th) - Practice 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. 
 
*After week two our incoming 6th graders will join the regular practice schedule and times that are listed below on our website.
 
WHAT DOES YOUR PLAYER NEED:
  • Each Player must have a completed Final Forms Account and an up-to-date Sports Physical
  • Pair of Black or Navy Shorts
  • White T-shirt (preferably plain with no print)
  • Crew Length Socks
  • Cleats (White, Black, Gray, Navy, Carolina Blue, or a Combination of listed Colors)

First, we would like to thank you for your interest in Rocky Fork Middle School Football! We are unbelievably excited to have the opportunity to be a part of your students’ journey not only on the football field but also in their everyday lives. Our motto this season is DO MORE. We are going to challenge our student athletes to not only do more every day in practice, but also to do more in the classroom, the hallways of their school, and their community. We believe that young people who are willing to go the extra mile and pursue perfection are destined to not only be successful in the game of football but are also one day going to be great spouses, parents, and leaders in our community.

Meet The Coaching Staff:
 
Coach John Carey (Head Coach/OL/DB's) - Coach Carey has been an educator and coach for over 20 years. He began his coaching career at his alma matter, Trousdale County High School, and was most recently on staff at Donelson Christian Academy. In his years of coaching Coach Carey has been a part of staffs that have won 7 TSSAA State Championships as well as numerous region and conference titles. Coach Carey obtained his bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Middle Tennessee State University.  Coach Carey has been married to his wife Kristin for 21 years and has a son (Mitchell) that will be attending the United States Coast Guard Academy in the fall, as well as a daughter (Shelby) who will be entering her sophomore year at DCA.  
 
Coach Tyler Lee (Assoc. Head Coach/QB's/LB's) - Coach Lee, a recent graduate of Middle Tennessee State University is entering his first year of education. Coach Lee graduated high school from Culleoka High School where he was a standout athlete. After playing college baseball at UT Southern, Coach Lee transferred to MTSU to pursue a career in education. Coach Lee also serves as Head JV Baseball Coach and an assistant coach on the Rocky Fork Baseball staff. 
 
Coach Greg Hibdon (DL/RB's) - Coach Hibdon just completed his 12th year in Education. A graduate of Tennessee Tech University, where he graduated with honors, Coach Hibdon brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Rocky Fork Staff. Coach Hibdon currently teaches 7th grade Social Studies and serves Rocky Fork Middle School in a number of other areas. Coach Hibdon has been married to his wife Rachel for 10 years, they have two beautiful daughters, Norah (6) and Willa (3).
