What We Do

 Middle school is a time of personal exploration, a time to seek out one's own identity, and physiologically, a time of rapid growth.  Our goal is to create an environment where each and every student is able to find confidence in themselves and believe in their own competence as learners and important members of a community. As a school counseling program, we focus on creating a better tomorrow through excellence today by helping students overcome barriers, connecting students to needed resources, and teaching students important skills to promote social and emotional health.

 

As a School Counselors, we perform many roles in order to promote positive growth and development across three domains: academic, college and career, and social emotional. Some of those roles include:
